Obituary of Theresa Coleen LeLievre

It is with sadness that the family of Theresa Coleen (nee MacKinnon) LeLievre, age 92 of Bedford, announce her peaceful passing on January 31st, 2019 at the QEII VG Site. Theresa was a long time Bedford resident, well-liked neighbour and an avid bridge player who played in a number of bridge clubs in Bedford until very recently. She will be missed by her family, many friends and fellow bridge players. She is survived by her only daughter, Lise (aka Faith Ann) and her only granddaughter, Selwynn, who reside in British Columbia. Born in New Waterford on Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia, she was the daughter of the late Archie MacKinnon and Bell MacKenzie. In addition to her loving husband, Dominic, and her parents, Theresa was predeceased by her siblings; Anna (Joseph) Cormier, William MacKinnon, Angus (Ida) MacKinnon, Peter (Geraldine) MacKinnon. Theresa is also survived by one sister, Joan (Bernard) McKinnon and numerous nieces, nephews and their extended families. An informal gathering for family and friends will be held for Theresa on April 20th, 2019 at 11:00 am, at the Brookside Community Cemetery, Wardour Street, Bedford. Theresa will be laid to rest beside her loving husband, Dominic, and April 20th will mark their 59th wedding anniversary. The service will be followed by lunch at the Esquire Restaurant (their favorite spot) for anyone who is interested in joining us following the service.
