Cormier, Norman of Grand Etang
It is with heavy hearts that we say goodbye to our brother Norman Cormier who died suddenly on September 18, 2015. We will remember our brother when he was a young boy, when his life was simpler, surrounded by the sounds of his laughter, his sense of humor and sensitive nature. We wish him a peaceful journey with thousands of angels to watch over him.
Born in Cheticamp on September 3, 1954, he was the third son of the late Yvonne and Joseph Albert Cormier.
Norman is survived by five sisters Rose Marie Chaisson, Delia, Priscilla, Jeannine, Sheila; brothers Arthur, Leon (Cathy MacArthur) and Richard; nieces and nephews, Suzanne, Nancy, Wallace, Dale (Jessica Munian); grand-nieces and nephews, Piper, Jackson Raymond, and Deacon Arthur.
… So I said to the Lord, “You promised me Lord, that if I followed you, you would walk with me always. But I have noticed that during the most trying periods of my life there have only been one set of footprints in the sand. Why, when I needed you most, you have not been there for me?”
The Lord replied, “The times when you have seen only one set of footprints is when I was carrying you.”
A Funeral Mass will be held in St. Joseph du Moine Parish Church at 2 p.m.
No flowers by request. Donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetic Association.
