Please share a memory of Danielle to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Hudson, Danielle Nicole Danielle was born in Halifax to Charlene (Smith) Hudson and Mike Hudson. Danielle’s angels took her on Monday, October 19, 2015, at the age of 22, while surrounded by her family in the Halifax Infirmary. Danielle is survived by her maternal grandparents Donald and Marie Smith, her paternal grandparents Harvey and Gerda Hudson all of Lower Sackville, and her paternal grandmother Deanna Buckley of N.B. She is also survived by her brothers Justin Hudson and Dennis Smith (Shawna Ryan) both of Lower Sackville, her aunt Nicole Rosen (Jay) of Boston, Mass.; uncles Brian Smith (Sandy Smith, predeceased) of Lower Sackville, Darrell Hudson (Yvonne) of Meagher’s Grant; many cousins, and many special friends. Danielle worked at Wal-Mart in Bedford Commons, where she never said no to a shift. She loved all kitties but no kitties ever got more love and affection than her precious fur babies Polo and Oscar. She enjoyed her “Marguerita” Mondays. Danielle was the recipient of the Nova Scotia Lifesaving Society Award in October 2004 after pulling her friend Brooke Totten from the Sackville River on a very cold winter’s day. Danielle’s loving and giving nature was there right until the end. Her last wonderful deed was donating her organs so others could have a chance at a better life. She will be greatly missed by everyone that was blessed to know her. She was a generous, kind, funny, witty, and delightful young lady that everyone was proud to call her a daughter, granddaughter, niece, Godchild, co-worker, and friend. She had an infectious smile and always made everyone feel better. She was everyone’s Angel. Thank you to the amazing doctors and nurses on Unit 5.2 and to the organ donor team. Visitation will be held from 6-9 p.m. Friday, October 23, 2015, in St. John’s Anglican Church, 2187 Larry Uteck Blvd., where a Celebration of Life will take place at 11 a.m. on Saturday, October 24, 2015. Interment will follow in Oakridge Memorial Gardens, Lower Sackville. Family flowers only. Donations in memory of Danielle (Catz) Hudson may be made to the SPCA to look after all the precious kitties. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to T.J. Tracey Cremation and Burial Specialists, Bedford.
