Obituary of Francis F. Verge

Francis (Frank) F. Verge, 80 of Hammonds Plains passed away Tuesday Sept 29, 2015 at the Halifax Infirmary. Born in Halifax he was the son of the late Harold H and Kathryn (Hilton) Verge. Frank was a member of Keith’s Lodge #17 and Scottish Rite of Freemasonry. He was employed by Maritime Paper, retiring after 44 years of service. He is survived by his wife of 59 years Beverley (Vieth) Verge. Brothers Donald (Maxine) Verge, Lower Sackville, brother in law Arthur (Joan) Vieth, Hammonds Plains and Gary (Sharon) Vieth, Black Point. Sister in law and special daughter Janet (Donald) Forbes and many special nieces and nephews. Besides his parents Frank was predeceased by brothers Harold, Gerald (Helen) Verge, sisters Helena (Jim) Forbes, and Joan (Alvery) LeBlanc. There will be no visitation by request a memorial service will be held on Friday Oct 2 2015 at 11am in St Peters Anglican Church 3 Dakin Drive, Birch Cove.
