Obituary of Barbara Ellen Hunt

Barbara Ellen Hunt of Spryfield passed away December 25th 2015 at Victoria General Hospital. Born in Montreal, Quebec she was the daughter of the late Thaddeus Skurdauskas and Dora Gallant. Barbara worked her whole career (39) years at the Bank of Montreal (BMO) holding various positions in management. She was well respected in her field by both administrators and staff. Family was everything to Barb and she adored her children and grandchildren. Sunday suppers were always a family tradition with everyone enjoying Barb’s wonderful cooking. She is survived by her husband Paul William Hunt, two sons Paul G.M. (Holly) and Billy (Catherine), one daughter Kelly Cameron (Mark), brothers John Skurdauskas (Lynn), David Meehan (Carole), Don Meehan (Gloria) and Patrick Meehan, sisters Tanya Janc, Harriett Meehan, Donna Kean (Zane), and Cheri Meehan, grandchildren Chloe, Harper and Hilary Hunt. There will be no visitation by request, cremation has taken place. A celebration of Barbara’s life will be held on Wednesday December 30th 2015 at 1pm, followed by a reception at St. John’s Anglican Church, 2187 Larry Uteck Blvd, Bedford.
