Obituary of Joseph Amedee Bourgeois

Joseph Amedee Bourgeois, of Lower Sackville, Nova Scotia passed away Wednesday December 2nd 2015 at Parkstone Enhanced Care. Born in Cheticamp, Nova Scotia he was the son of the late Willie and Katie Bourgeois (Muise). He was employed by Sagador Cranes as sales manager and retired in 2008. He is survived by his brother Raymond Bourgeois, sister Pauline Slaton, and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife Catherine, and brothers Neil and Robert. A funeral mass will be held at Saint John Vianney in Lower Sackville, Nova Scotia on January 7th at 11:00am. Reverend Jamie Utronkie officiating. The interment will be in Gates of Heaven Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Metro Food Bank. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to T.J. Tracey Cremation and Burial Specialists, Bedford (902) 835-4212.
