Obituary of Charles Lemoine

Charles Lemoine of Dartmouth passed away at home on December 12th 2015. Born in St. Pierre et Miquelon, he was the son of Elizabeth and the late Charles Lemoine. Charles greatest passion was his love of navigation and the adventures and challenges the industry provided him. Charles was an accomplished master seaman and was very well respected by those he sailed with. Charles felt truly spiritually connected to the ocean. His adventures for life travel and human connection allowed him to explore his love of linguistics in which he was extremely gifted. This gift allowed him to connect with so many. There was no one he would not try to talk to or help with anything he possibly could. Charles pursued his love of navigating the ocean up until weeks before his passing. He is survived by his loving mother who he adored and his beautiful wife Jana, daughter Crina (Diecus) and grandson Alex, Sons Gilles (Tracey), Jose (Linda), Glenn (Kelly) and Steven (Jess), loving daughter Christine (Lonny), brothers Jean Paul and William, sisters Anne Marie, Cecile, and Claudette. Pere loved and loves his grandchildren, great grandchildren and they also love him. Several nieces and nephews. Besides his dad, he was predeceased by his loving sister Denise, brother Vincent and niece Joelle. By request cremation has taken place under the care and direction of T. J.
