Obituary of Gary Leo Elliott

Elliott, Gary Leo, 67 of Halifax passed away December 23rd, 2015 in the QEII hospital. Born in Halifax, Gary was the son of the late Joyce (Hubley) Elliott and Leo Roderick Elliott. He was a proud member of The Twelve Step Program, and just celebrated his 20th anniversary of sobriety. Gary enjoyed fishing, reading and music. He loved to play his guitar and he especially enjoyed his coffee time routine with his great friend Don. He drove a taxi for over 30 years and was very well liked by all who knew him. Gary was a kind, loving brother. He is survived by his sisters Shirley Elliott, Heather (Michael Murphy), along with many nieces and nephews whom he was so fond of. Gary will be deeply missed by his family and friends whom were so close to his heart. A celebration of life service will be held on Friday, January 8th 2016, 7pm-9pm at 5 Ramsgate Lane, Halifax, N.S.
