Obituary of Frederick Allen Scobey

Frederick Allen Scobey passed away peacefully February 2, 2016 at the age of 60 in Halifax. Born in Liverpool, Nova Scotia he was the son of Maurice and Ruby Scobey. He is survived by his mother Ruby Scobey, common law partner Phillip Landry, step sons Liam and Scott, step daughter Rebecca, brother Maurice Jr, sisters Queenie Irwin (Phillip), Nancy Moulton (Willard), several nephews and nieces, and precious dog Dutchess. He was predeceased by his father Maurice Scobey, and brother Joe. Visitation will be held at 242 Main Avenue, Halifax, Nova Scotia, on Friday February 5, 2016. Graveside service at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family. Arrangements have been entrusted to T. J. Tracey Cremation and Burial Specialists, Bedford, Nova Scotia.
