Obituary of Glenn Kenty McCully

McCully, Glenn Kenty age 79 It is with deep sadness that we the family of Glenn Kenty McCully announce his passing in the QEII – Camp Hill Memorial Building on February 24, 2016. Born in Debert Glenn was a son of the late Lloyd and Bessie (Archibald) McCully. Glenn was a great husband, father and grandfather. He never missed any of his grandchildren’s sporting events near or far. Following his retirement from the National Research Council, he enjoyed his daily walks in Shubie Park. He is survived by his wife Lorraine (Canning) McCully; son Michael; daughter Janice and son-in-law Glen MacDonald; granddaughters Shea and Kiley MacDonald of whom he was most proud; brothers Vernon and Ralph; sisters Elaine, Ardith, Kathleen, and Lorna of whom he was extremely close. Glenn was predeceased by his parents and siblings Joe, Dorothy, Chester, and Eva. A celebration of life will be held at his daughter’s home, 46 North Street, Bedford, NS, on Saturday, February 27, 2016, from 2 – 4 p.m. Family flowers only. Donations in Glenn’s memory may be made to the Nova Scotia Heart and Stroke Foundation or to the Alzheimer Society of Nova Scotia.
