Obituary of Margaret Mary Lee

Margaret “Margie” Mary Lee Glace Bay It is with saddened hearts that we the family announce the sudden passing of Margie Lee , age 60 at home. Born in Glace Bay, she was the daughter of the late Rupert and Peggy (Hines) Lee. She was employed as a continuing care assistant with Victoria Haven until her retirement, where she met many friends. Margie enjoyed camping, travelling both around Cape Breton and various tropical southern locales and lounging at home by the pool. Margie is survived by her loving partner of 15 years, David Taylor; her children, Andrew (Angela) Johnson, Bridgewater, Lauren (Alex) Stathakis, Halifax; her grandchildren, Arlie and Emery; sister, Maris Lee, Bedford; brothers, David (Marie) Lee, Glace Bay, Ian (Wendy) Lee, Glace Bay, as well as several nieces and nephews. She is also survived by Anne Taylor, Joanne Taylor and Jimmie Taylor all of Glace Bay. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held 2:00 p.m. Thursday, November 8, 2018 at T.J. Tracey Cremation and Burial Specialists, 370 Reserve St., Glace Bay, N.S. (902-849-4199). Burial to follow in St. Anne’s Cemetery, Glace Bay.
