Obituary of Joyce Mary MacInnis

It is with broken hearts that we announce the passing of Joyce Mary MacInnis, 81 of Halifax on Tuesday, May 10th 2016 at Ocean View Manor. Born in Halifax, she was the daughter of the late Martha and Gordon MacInnis. Joyce worked at the V.G Hospital for 32 years. She and her twin sister Joan were always together. They were so kind and loved everybody. She was a jokester. Our family would like to thank Dr. C. Nowlan and all the people who took care of Joyce at Ocean View Manor for several years. She is survived by her brother Gordon Jr. (Marlene); sister Shirley (Jim) Estey and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her twin sister Joan and brother Bill. There will be no visitation. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, May 18th 2016 Fairview Cemetery at 1pm. Family flowers only, donations can be made to the Nova Scotia Alzheimer’s Society.
