Obituary of Ralph Winslow Pryde

Pryde, Ralph Winslow – age 85, of Lower Sackville, passed away on July 7, 2016. Ralph was a son of the late Lawson and Jean Fernandez. He was born in Halifax and grew up in Sonora. Ralph worked 25 years at Silverwoods Dairy and later at Farmers Dairy in Halifax. He loved to fish and was an avid hunter. He is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Mary Pryde; children Dennis (Cathy), Mark (Jessie), Wally (Theresa), grandchildren Christine, Ashley, Brittney, and Thomas; and six great grandchildren; sisters, Faith Gray, and Shirley (John) Rice, Colorado. He was predeceased by his parents; sister Connie Fernandez; brother in law Donald Gray. Cremation has taken place under the direction of T. J. Tracey Cremation & Burial Specialists (902) 835-4212. In Keeping with Ralph’s wishes there will be no visitation or funeral service. Family and friends are invited to pay their respects from 6:00 – 9:00 pm on Sunday, July 10 in Acadia Hall, 650 Sackville Drive, Lower Sackville, NS. In lieu of flowers, donation’s may be made in Ralph’s memory to the VON or Palliative Care.
