Obituary of Joseph Alphonse Gaudet

Joseph Alphonse Gaudet, age 68, died in Halifax, Nova Scotia, on Saturday, July 16, 2016. Born in 1948 in Halifax, Nova Scotia, he had lived and studied in Fredericton, NB, Werl and Hemer, Germany, and Haslemere, England. Joe was employed at the Construction Engineering Department – Canadian Forces Base Greenwood. He worked at the Base until his retirement. Survivors include his son Daniel (and Charmaine) and daughter Angie Gaudet Holland both of Middleton, and brothers Russell and Derek. He is also survived by his 7 loving grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Joseph was preceded in death by his dear parents Doreen and Ray. Joseph wished to be cremated. Funeral service will be held Friday, August 5 at 10:00am in Saint Monica’s Roman Catholic Church, Middleton. Memorial contributions are welcome and may be made to Shelter Nova Scotia.
