JOHN WALTER HURLEY – GLACE BAY It is with heavy hearts that we, the family, announce the passing of John Walter Hurley at Glace Bay Hospital, on August 23, 2016. Born in Glace Bay, he was a son of the late Betty Fisher and Bartholomew Hurley. John was known for his generosity, love and warmth. He was a loving father, grandfather, brother and uncle. He is survived by his wife Patricia Anne (Cochrane); daughters, Chris, Courtney and Alicia; sisters; Elizabeth and Wendy, brothers; Morris and Keith. He is also survived by four grandchildren with Cole being the light of his eye and many nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, John was predeceased by brother, Charlie. Funeral Service will be held at St. Mary’s Anglican Church at 11am on Monday August 29, with interment to follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to T. J.
