Obituary of Philip Gale Cross

Philip Gale Cross, age 63 of Bedford died on August 25, 2016 at the Halifax Infirmary after a short battle with cancer. He was born in Halifax and was the son of Cyril and Irene Cross. Philip was a meat cutter who was first trained at Sobey’s. He played hockey and was a great baseball pitcher. He loved spending time at his camp. He was loved by all who knew him, and was a kind, caring and loving person. Philip loved spending time with his family and friends. Philip was survived by his wife, Millie Isnor and step-daughter Chrissy. He was survived by his twin sons, Jeff and Anthony Purcell, his daughters Amanda, Shantel, and Tanya, his brothers, Dwight Robert, James Donald and Jacob, his sisters, Barb Purcell and Donna Flemming. HE was predeceased by his daughter, Sarah. A family memorial service will be held at a later date with internment in the old Bog Road Cemetery.
