Barbour, Philip F. P., 74 years old, of Halifax, passed away peacefully on September 20, 2016 at the QEII Halifax Infirmary. Born in Halifax, he was a son of the late George and Evelyn Barbour. Philip was a lifelong resident and taxi driver in Halifax. He loved people and sharing history of Halifax with his passengers. Philip deeply loved spending time with his grandchildren. He will be sadly missed by all those who knew him. Survived by his son, Grant; daughter, Wendy; brothers, Derek, Michael (Kathy), Peter, Reg and George; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his brother David. Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 25, 2016 from 7-9 pm in St. Agnes Parish, 6903 Mumford Rd, Halifax. Funeral service will be held Monday, September 26 at 10:00 am also in St. Agnes Parish. Family flowers only. Memorial donations may be made to the Lung Association of Nova Scotia.
