Obituary of Leamon F. DeMont

DeMONT, Leamon Firman – Of Western Shore passed away September 22, 2016, at the age of 80. Lea was born in Western Shore, the son of Lloyd and Ella (Sawler) (of Western Shore). Predeceased by his parents; and wife of 32 years, Joyce (Adams) (of Gaspe, Que.). Survived by his daughter, Yolande DeMont; common-law son, David Vincent of Wilmot; his long-time girlfriend, Noreen Mosher of Western Shore; cousins, and an extended family. Lea loved to garden. He shared his flowers, and laughs, freely. Lea worked at the Bedford Institute of Oceanography until his retirement and also worked at Royal Print for many years. He will be missed by many. Thank you to the amazing people of Capital Health, for their help over the last few years. A special thank you to the team at Camp Hill Jubilee 6 East, for their kind care. A service will be held in New Hope Community Church, Western Shore, on Saturday, October 1 at 2 p.m. Arrangements have been entrusted to T.J. Tracey Cremation and Burial Specialists, Bedford. Donations can be made to a charity of the donors choice.
