Obituary of Marie Evelyn Schroeder

Schroeder, Marie Evelyn (Cleveland) – 74 passed away peacefully on Oct 10, 2016 at home surrounded by her loving family, in the house that they built together 43 years ago in Lower Sackville. Born in Blanford, she was a daughter of the late William and Amy (Boutilier) Cleveland. She is survived by her husband of 56 years, James “Doug” Schroeder; sons Douglas (Mary-Beth), Darrell, Kevin, and James (Kim); and special niece Lisa Cleveland thought of as a daughter; brothers Laurie (Trudy), John (Christine); sisters Fay (Victor), Beulah (Jimmy); grandchildren Patric and Melissa; sister in law Irene Sperry, thought of as a sister; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by brothers Winton, Edgar and Linton; sisters Audrey, Sandra, Norma and Margaret. Cremation has taken place. A celebration of life will be held on Friday, October 14, 2016 at 2:00 pm at her home for family and friends. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Canadian Cancer Society. Special thanks to Barb Stewart her Palliative Care nurse, the VON, and Lisa Cleveland and Kim Mullane for helping us with mom, in fulfilling her wish to stay home.
