To the FRIENDS of JEANETTE MACDONALD: I send my DEEPEST sympathy on the passing of Jeannette! I met her at my Aunt’s place as a young girl many many years ago; when she and Jack, and King(the dog) came to the Valley to visit. I visited once off of Quinpool Road(forget the street) in 1977 and after that just lost contact. Remember reading about her in the paper when she had the home invasion. I looked in the Halifax directory but never was able to find her phone number. I have some pictures of her and Jack in their younger years. My Aunt met Jeanette at the hospital while having radiation treatment and they kept friendship for quite a few years visiting to the valley. I feel badly that I never got to reunite with her again but have very FOND MEMORIES of both her and Jack!! Sincerely, Angela Burns RIP Jeanette It was a pleasure to have known you!!
