Obituary of Linda Jean Thomson

With heavy hearts we regret to announce the passing of Linda Jean Thomson, of Railway Street, Glace Bay. Linda passed away peacefully on December 17, 2016 after a long battle with Alzheimer’s Disease. Born in Glace Bay she was a daughter of Alfred and Jean Gracie. In earlier years Linda worked at General Instruments then Cameron’s Dry Cleaners. Following marriage, she spent her greatest years looking after her husband Joe and daughter Jody. She is survived by her husband Joe; daughter Jody Richards (Scott); and grandsons Lucas and Jake; brothers Gerald (Porky), Wayne, Brian; and her sisters Kim (James), and Helen (Jerry). Linda was predeceased by her father Alfred and brother Tubby. Mom loved time spent at home with us and her daily evening drives with dad. Her kindness, strength of will, and love of family will be greatly missed in our everyday lives. Cremation has taken place under the direction of T. J.
