1980-2017 It is with deepest sorrow we announce the passing of my son Terry. Born in 1980, in Glace Bay, the son of Terry Wilson Sr. and Roxanne Wilson (Janes). Terry is survived by his son, Devon; mother, Roxanne; brother, Cory (Samantha); sister, Nicole; nieces, Emilie, Hanah Blair, Katie; great niece, Ellie; nephew, Zach and niece, Fiona who held a special place in his heart. Terry is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Terry is predeceased by his father, Terry Wilson Sr., paternal grandparents, Keith Sr. and Myrna MacKay and maternal grandmother, Marguerite Janes. Terry graduated from Glace Bay High and started his working career at the Fish Plant as his father years before. Terry resumed his working career in Alberta working as a Scaffolder. He worked on many projects with his Dad and brother. In his youth he played hockey and volleyball, winning the Provincial Championship in Volleyball in his grade 10 year. For recreation he enjoyed skateboarding and baseball. Terry was a Habs fan in his youth and adulthood. Terry loved his family and friends deeply and was loved in return. He had a loving relationship with the children, they seemed to be drawn to him and the bond they shared could be seen by all. Terry was always generous and the first in line to help family and friends when needed. His generosity and willingness to lend a helping hand will be remembered fondly by all who loved him. A celebration of life for Terry will be held Sunday, January 15 at 3 p.m. in TJ Tracey Funeral Home Memorial Chapel, 370 Reserve St, Glace Bay (902) 849-4199. Donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation in Terry’s memory. Though I’ll never touch your handsome face Or feel your loving hug I trust that God has called you home To give you peace and love I’ll cherish all my memories Tucked in my broken heart Til the day I see you once again then we’ll never be apart I love you dearly son of mine I’ll never say goodbye I’ll see you in my every dream And forever hold you in my heart Love mom
