Obituary of Stephen Herbert Hemming

Stephen Herbert Hemming, 53, of Halifax, left us suddenly on Sunday January 29th, 2017. He is survived by his brothers Scott (Maryanne) of Lower Sackville, and Daniel (Dana) of Edmonton. He also leaves behind three cherished nieces Rebecca, Alicia and Camryn, his nephew and JD. Born in Halifax, Nova Scotia, he was the oldest son of Donald and Joyce Hemming (nee Dobson). Steve was predeceased by his parents Donald (1977) and Joyce (2013). Steve was a spirited child, who marched to the beat of his own drum. A man of few words, Steve enjoyed the simple things in life; going for walks, watching movies, going for drive to Hubbards, NS, and of course… Steve enjoyed music, especially the works of Frank Zappa. He will be missed by many. A family memorial service will be held at a later date. Donations in Steve’s memory may be made to the Diabetes Association.
