Donna Peverill posted a condolence

Dear Ryan,
I was lucky to have met Donna over 35 years ago. In the earlier years we spent a lot of time together, playing baseball, travelling back and forth to work and generally having a lot of fun together. As the years passed and we didn’t see each other as often we still stayed in touch and what I remember most was when we connected it was like we just spoke yesterday. She had such a great sense of humour and we always shared a lot of laughs together. I will miss her.
You have her same sense of humour and I remember how much she enjoyed bantering back and forth with you about things because of it! I know that you have lost a friend as well as a Mother.
Ryan, she was always so proud of you and was especially proud when you joined the regular force and became a father to Ellie. She was a fantastic Mother and Grandmother, a kind and generous person and a great friend to many.
I am so sorry for your loss.
Donna Peverill

Donna was a beautiful person, inside and out. She had a special gift to make everyone laugh and everyone loved being around her. I worked with her for many years and will miss the twinkle in her eyes. Donna especially liked talking about her niece, nephew, and especially her son Ryan and granddaughter Ellie. Donna was so proud of the strong, young man Ryan has become.
My thoughts and prayers are with her family.

I worked with Donna at CFNES and we became good friends. She had a great sense of humour and a big heart. She was so proud of her son Ryan and over the moon when Ellie came along. I will cherish the pictures Donna shared with me. My thoughts and prayers go out to Donna’s family.

I have had the privilege to live next door to Donna as we all grew up in Eastern Passage. Over the past year Donna was home to her mom’s a lot visiting and helping her friends.
Steve and I were shocked to read the news of Donna’s passing she did all she could to beat her battle with cancer; however, the cancer won. Donna was an outgoing, caring individual who’s laugh you could hear from any corner of a room.. She was there for her mom when Marie’s partner died even though she was fighting her own battles. That was just the type of person she was. Donna was very proud of her son Ryan and was excited when he announced she was a grandmother for a beautiful little girl Ellie. Donna you will be missed by all who you have touched with your heart and your strength.

I worked with Donna for quite a few years at the Canadian Forces Naval Engineering School. She was a wonderful person with a great sense of humour! I was able to share some laughs with her when she was kind enough to pop in to our workplace a few months ago for a quick visit. I was so happy to see her. I will miss her lovely smile.
My thoughts and prayers go out to her family and friends.

Dear Ryan
I worked with Donna for many years, over 25 I think, but really only got to know her well during the last couple and particularly so during the last year. She spoke of you so often, as well as of her nephew Kyle. She spoke of your love, kindness and consideration towards her. It made me feel warm inside just hearing her speak of you both. When you asked her to move to Gagetown with you so that “you could look after her for a change” she was so touched by the sweetness of your offer.
She was very proud of you Ryan. When you joined the military, she was so excited to show me your graduation picture. She was very lucky to have such a caring son. Meeting your daughter Ellie and getting to know her was a real joy to her.
Donna had a very hard last year, as you know. Myself and some of her other colleagues would meet up for coffee when she was feeling up to it and I was always struck by how positive she always tried to be. She was a kind and thoughtful person. The last time I saw her was the week before you came down last Christmas; I visited her at her apartment. She was busy canning apple topping for you and others and with knitting baby bonnets for new born infants in the Grace. That afternoon, for me, really made me realise what a wonderful person she was. She will be missed.

On behalf of the entire Wigle Family I would like to offer our most humble condolences. I cannot imagine how difficult a time this must be for the Robar family. In retrospect we all enjoyed an ideal childhood and upbringing in a fabulous community. Through these developmental years there were so many wonderful shared experiences our lives become ever connected. I offer all the comfort possible and will be thinking and praying for the Robar family in this time of sorrow.
Respectfully
Laurie Wigle
