Rozanne and I wish to offer condolences to Liam, Leah and Craig and their families on their Dave’s passing. Having worked closely with Dave for ten years he demonstrated great people skills in dealing with employees, management and the public and gained a well earned respect in the community. That was reinforced when we went to attend the services this evening and there was not a place to park within a half kilometer of Traceys. You can be proud for him!
Sorry we could not meet you in person again this evening.

So sad to hear about David’s passing. I knew him in his early years at school and later we would bump into him around the bay. Colleen and I were school chumps also. David and Coleen are now together forever. Sending my condolences to all family members. God Bless you and your families.

It was a pleasure to know and be around Dave. His laugh could easily be heard from down the hall outside the dressing room. I remember our trips to a gentleman’s hockey tournament in Moncton and my sides were sore for a week from laughing. He was a true Gentleman and will be missed by anyone that had the joy of meeting him. Thoughts and prayers are going out to his family. Srummy you will be dearly missed.

I have a fond recollection of Dave and Colleen visiting me on a nice sunny day. Dave was relaxed and at total peace , as was she…when they were leaving, they told me it was their wedding anniversary and they were “just out for a drive”. I remember Colleen saying, as a light breeze drifted across the hayfields,”it’s a great day for drying clothes”. They put me in a meloncoly mood that day with their peaceful demeanour, just out for a quiet relaxing drive on their anniversary without fanfare. I remember thinking, how fortunate they were to be together, and they certainly were… this is my ongoing thought of them when they came to mind over the passing years. I seem to always recollect that memory because it has become ingrained in my memory. I’m certain anyone who knew them has their own special recollections as well.

A finer more Gentle Man I have never met. Dave has left us all with fond memories that will not fade anytime soon. Dave is another classic example of “Only The Good Die Young”.
You will be missed Scrummy!!

Grace and families
I was lucky to meet David briefly many years ago,the words expressed are of a truly remarkable individual however, I only knew him thru his sister, Grace. From the stories she told about David, he was an even better person. May the wonderful interactions with him provide happiness and smiles to your faces and help comfort all of you at this time of sorrow.
Now that he is pain free, may he rest in peace and eternal light shine upon him.
Cheryl and Terry French
