It is with broken hearts that we the family, of Samuel Robert (Bobby) Barrett, 82 of Glace Bay, announce his passing on Friday April 28, 2017, at the Regional Hospital. Born in Glace Bay he was the son of the late Sarah (MacLellan) and Samuel Barrett. Bobby was a retired correctional officer of 28 years as well as a Veteran of the Korean War. He was an avid outdoorsman whom loved life most with his fishing rod in hand. Bobby was predeceased by his loving wife Marg (Donovan), daughter; Jean Danielle; brothers Cecil, Wilfred, Ronnie, and Russell; sisters Patricia and Joan He is survived by his daughter Anne Louise (Keith) Mercer; sons Joey (Isabelle), Blaise (Cathy) and Russell (Wendy); grandchildren Barrett, Callie, Dresden, Nicholas, Rachel, and Samantha; sister Shirley (Allen) MacPherson; sister in law Janice Barrett. There will be no visitation or service. Cremation arrangements has been entrusted to T.J.
