Obituary of Blair F. MacEachern

We are saddened to announce the sudden death of Blair Fraser MacEachern, age 66 of Halifax, on March 9th, 2019. Blair was a son of Phyllis Madeline (Morris) and the late Willard Fraser. Blair has been a loving husband to Heather MacEachern (nee Carter) for 45 years. He worked for many years in the medical sales field until his retirement. He then worked for O`Regans Cars and later found his calling with the Corps of Commissionaires. Blair also loved his ministry with the outreach committee and as a layreader at the Cathedral Church of All Saints. Beside Heather, Blair is survived by daughters Tara (David MacDonald) and Kate (Aaron Ali); the apples of his eye, his four grandsons: Brad, Ben, Malakai, and Alex; Mother Phyllis; sister Morah; brothers Ian, Chris, Ron and Bruce; many nieces and nephews; as well as special sister Sharron Colwell. A celebration of life will be held at the Cathedral Church of All Saints, 1330 Cathedral Lane, Halifax, on Wednesday, March 13th, at 2 pm with The Very Rev. Paul Smith officiating. Visitation will be held in the Cathedral Church of All Saints on Tuesday, March 12th, from 6-8 pm.
