Obituary of Zlatko Karlović

Karlović Zlatko Age 48, of Halifax. It is with profound sadness that we announce that Zlatko passed away June 6 after a short, but courageous battle with cancer. Born in Gornji Svilaj, the former Yugoslavia, he migrated to Canada in 1995. He is survived by this son Vučko, daughter Miša, and his mother Jelena. He was predeceased by his father Mato Karlovic. Zlatko spent the last 19 years working with the Diabetes Care Program of Nova Scotia. His quick smile and encouraging words will be missed by all. We ask that you remember Zlatko with a smile and enjoy the beautiful nature that surrounds us, as he so loved to do. A Celebration of His Life will be held on June 14 from 3:00 to 5:30 at the Bethune Ballroom, VG site. Please join us for “Take Time for Coffee.” In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in trust for his children (details below). A special thanks to all who knew Zlatko and provided him much love and support over these past few months.
