Meeting the Farrer family back in Aug 1971, I have come to think of them all as family, watching Rick & Kellie blossom into beautiful caring adults and being happy in their lives. Marijke & Jack stayed with me in Ont for a short time, Jack jumped right in to help us with fixing our house. Our 2 families spent a lot of time together, just enjoying each others company. I was heart broken when I heard the news of Jack’s passing. He will forever be in my thoughts and prayers, my heart and love go out to Marijke, Rick and Kellie, love you all very much. xxx

My thoughts are with you all at this time. I have wonderful memories of Uncle Jack and the obituary is written very accurately. He was fun to have around and he did love his family very much. I’ll never forget the day when he walked into the hospital to see Dad after Dad and Mom’s car accident. The love for his brother was very visible and he was barely able to keep it together but he drew the strength he needed and whispered to Dad to not dare leave us. He came to see Dad often to check on him and he always thought of Dad as his ‘big brother’ even though he wasn’t. Life was not easy for Uncle Jack in many ways but I’ll never forget his smile each time I walked into TCG and went to say hi to him. He was always happy to see me. You’d never know the load he was carrying. Rest well, Uncle Jack. Hugs to the family. Amanda
