Dear Leslie, So very sorry to learn of your mother’s passing. Shelley read her obituary in The Herald and told me the sad news. What a beautifully written tribute to your mother and a testament to her professional achievements, which were many. Our community and the people of Nova Scotia all benefited from her hard work and dedication. While I never had the privilege of knowing your mother, I did have the privilege of working with you and getting to know you, many years ago. Your knowledge and professionalism honoured your mother’s legacy and I am sure she was very proud of all your achievements. I hope this brings you comfort at this sad time.
