Sorry to hear this news Betty Ann, Suzanne and Greg. Sure glad I got to see Basil those times in Florida a few years back. I have great memories of visiting Nova Scotia as a kid, and am glad I got to see how wonderful of a man Basil was once I was an adult too. R.I.P. Uncle Basil. Scott Wade Miller.

We’re praying for you and family for comfort and peace on the loss of Basil, Betty Ann. He was a great friend and co-worker. My memories go back 60+ years. He was a quiet and easy going buddy, which made him a joy to work with. One memory I have is us driving a CBC truck to Ottawa and back. I couldn’t have asked for a better person to accomplish that. “Rest in peace” old friend.

Dear Betty Ann My condolences to you and your family. I do believe the heavenly musicians and angels are now so happy to see him. His fiddle music and I especially loved his guitar and singing….. And lots of wing flapping over his unique jokes,,,,Geez…..I so loved it when he would say: I gotta tell you ya this joke and off he went with happiest face and gestures ever I called him my Bb man…I will so miss him playing at the mike where I most saw him…..He will always be with us…..We always will love Basil.
