Obituary of Francis James Boutilier

It is with sadness that the family of Francis James Boutilier, age 68 of Glace Bay NS, announce his passing December 15th, 2018 at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital.
Born in Glace Bay, he was the son of the late Gordon and Francis (Clements) Boutilier.
Francis worked in the fisheries, and his hobbies included gardening and tinkering with things; he was a Jack of all trades.
He is survived by wife Gail (Holloway) Boutilier of 49 years; daughter Kimberlee (Clarence) Gibson; brothers Johnny (Stella), Marvin (Valerie), Clifford, Barry (Marlene), and Tony (Brenda); sisters Gail Hart (Ervin), Sandra Cooke (Billy), Geraldine Sharpe (Greg), and Myrtle Boutilier; grandchildren Jamie, Jordan, and Hillary Gibson; step-grandson Brent Boutilier; great granddaughter Lexi Gibson; as well as many nieces and nephews.
Beside his parents, Francis was predeceased by sons James and Billy; daughters Kelly and Kathy; brothers Blair and Sheldon; sisters Marggie and Wilma; 3 brothers in infancy; and step grandson Brent Boutilier.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to T.J. Tracey Cremation and Burial Specialists, 370 Reserve Street, Glace Bay. (902-849-4199)
Visitation will be held Tuesday, December 18th, 2018, at 11 am at T.J. Tracey’s.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Palliative Care Society of Cape Breton.
