Cpl. Timothy James Kelly Ret’d

Tim past away at home on Tuesday, Sept. 26, 2017.

Tim trained as a fireman with the Canadian Armed Forces Air Force Division but retired in 1997 due to an injury. He served at Cold Lake, Alberta aboard the HMCS Athabascan and at Greenwood, N.S.

Tim is survived by his parents, Jim and Sally Kelly, Tower Road; brothers, Donald James and Vincent at home; only son, James, Halifax, NS; daughter, Holly, Aylesford, NS and nieces, Tiffany and Aleisha Kelly.

There will be no visitation. A graveside service to take place Friday, Oct. 6, 2017 at 4 p.m., St. Anthony’s Cemetery, Glace Bay, with Father Norman MacPhee, friends welcome.
