Our mom was a teacher and later returned to School to get her degree in Social Work from Dalhousie University. She was passionate about her work with Victim Services and never considered retiring. Our mom loved to travel, read, and frequently attended local theatre productions. Through the years she was active with Eastern Star and the Red Hat Society. She was always up for a game of cards, especially bridge and never met a crossword she didn’t like.
We would like to send a special thank you to mom’s best friend Lois Gardner, the caring staff of 7A Palliative care unit VG Site, VON and also Sherry, Stephanie and Kelly from Closing the Gap.
