Obituary of Elaine Maureen Milley

Elaine Maureen Milley, 54 September 1970-January 2025 It is with deep sorrow that we the family of Elaine Maureen Milley, 54, of Gardiner Mines, announce her passing at home with her family at her side. Elaine is the daughter of James and the late Joanne Milley, of Gardiner Mines. Elaine enjoyed life to the fullest, bringing laughter to whomever she met along the way. Elaine worked for 25 years at the Horizon Achievement Center in Sydney and loved every co-worker and staff member there. She enjoyed the Bowlarama Tournaments and her Saturday trips to the Dollarama with her mom. She enjoyed every trip she took to Ontario and Boston to visit with her aunt Liz and aunt Marie. She appreciated many camping trips to Beaver Cove. Elaine was the apple of her dad’s eye and will be missed tremendously by all who knew and loved her. Elaine is survived by her loving father James Milley Sr., brother James Jr. (Donna), sister’s Brenda, Carolyn, and Debbie, as well as several nieces, nephews, and extended family. Elaine was predeceased by her mom Joanne. Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 21, 2025, from 1-2 p.m., with a Celebration of Life to follow at 2 p.m., in T.J. Tracey Funeral Home, 370 Reserve St., Glace Bay. 902-849-4199.
