Obituary of Frances Etheldra Loiseau

Frances E. Loiseau, 94 Port Morien, N.S. Frances E. Loiseau, 94, of Port Morien, passed away on Wednesday, January 15, 2025, in the Seaview Manor, Glace Bay. Born in Port Morien, Frances was the daughter of the late Fred and Iris Clements. Frances was a life-long member of St. Mary’s Alter Society. She was an avid Gardener and loved spending time with family and friends. Frances is survived by sons Roger (Bonnie)Loiseau and Shane Loiseau; sister’s Betty Grant, Elaine O’Neal, Karen (Lloyd) Brann, Julie Ranson, Linda St. Jules, and Kay (Mike) Boulet; two grandchildren Eric Loiseau and Emily (Frank) Melo; one great-grandchild Varro Melo; sisters in law Barbara, and Judy. Along with her parents, Frances was predeceased by her husband Roger Loiseau, son Dale Loiseau; brother’s Walter Clements, Buddy Clements, Freddy Clements, Eldon Clements, and Wayne Clements; sister Joan Metcalfe and Yvonne Virag; brothers in law Albert, Gaffy, and Don; sisters-in-law Joan, Murdie, Anna and Patricia. Cremation has taken place under the care and compassion of T.J. Tracey Cremation and Burial Specialists, 370 Reserve St., Glace Bay, 902-849-4199. Visitation will be held at a later time in St. Mary’s Parish, Port Morien. Donations may be made to St. Mary’s Church, Port Morien.
