First time we met Larry he went right over to our Pac man video game and started playing. He ended up getting to level 5 on his first game and putting his name in the machine. Never saw anyone do that before or since! Introduced him to Paula and they spent the next hour having a great time talking about family and everything else under the sun. We didn't know Larry long but we smile every time we think of him.

Everytime I hear Larry’s name or mention of him I think back to all the things he had taught me about life and work in general. He was always happy to lend a hand or show someone how to do something. In all the years of knowing him he was never rude or spoke poorly of anyone. He seemed to only have good things to say about everything. When I first started at Jmason I had a lot of issues with my mental health. There were things that Larry did and said that made me realize there’s a lot more in life than things I was having issues with. From the multiple camping, bike trips, fishing trips and just overall conversations while at work over the years he taught me about true happiness and that it isn’t expensive. Larry was always one to put his family and friends first and was always happy to lend a hand. He taught me that no matter what may be going on you can always have a glass half full kind of attitude, from his hilarious laugh, contagious smile, or just overall great attitude towards everything. He was truly an amazing person and I’m honoured to say I was able to meet such an amazing guy let alone someone I can call a friend. Loved by many, missed by all and will always be remembered.
My deepest condolences go out to the entire family and all friends.

Q: What will you never forget about Lawrence?
A: It was so disheartening to hear the news about Larry’s passing. I’ll never forget him driving me and Kendal around the neighbourhood during Halloween on the golf cart. Every time we would stop at a house Larry would either talk to the homeowner if he knew them, or introduce himself if he didn’t, he was simply that kind of person, he had an affinity for people and community. He exerted kindness and openness. He taught me that anything can be turned into something fun. I’m sending wishes of healing to the Carrol family, Larry will be deeply missed by many.

So sorry for your loss. Larry was certainly one of a kind. He always had a huge smile and beautiful disposition. The last time he showed up at our house in his golf cart with Zeus, he knew his future was on a timer but at no time did he become angry or sad. He simply said “it is what it is”. He was so positive about everything always worrying about others. We are so honoured to have known Larry and worship the time we spent with him. You will always be in our hearts. Rest in peace buddy. Larry you were one of the strongest men I’ve met, being Kendals bestfriend growing up you were like a second dad to me, me and you would always joke around with each other and you would bug the crap out of me every time I came down the driveway, so many laughs sitting on the couch, so many golf cart rides. I’m so sorry Kendals family, I hope you’re in heaven with all your loved ones❤️

Please accept our heartfelt condolences on the passing of Larry Carroll. Larry was a great guy who loved life and treasured his family and friends. He was always there to help out a friend or family member in need.
He was an amazing father, son, uncle, brother, and a good friend to many. He was a fun loveable guy and so good to people including strangers who crossed his path.

Our condolences to Nancy and all the Franklin and Carroll families as well as the countless friends Larry had in his life. The first i met Larry was playing tackle beach football. I was on the wrong side and Larry tackled me and held me under the water. I could see the surface and being unable to breathe i almost panicked, but then he got off of me and everything was ok. I was 16 at the time. I’ll be 50 soon. Larry was like an older brother to me. And i will miss him alot. My heart goes out to Nancy and his children. He made an impact on anyone he met. He will be missed.
