Obituary of Rebecca Campbell

Rebecca Campbell, 96 Glace Bay, N.S. It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of our beloved mother/grandmother and great-grandmother, Rebecca Campbell on Saturday, December 21, 2024, at the age of 96. Born in Glace Bay on November 18th, 1928, she was the daughter of the late Roderick and Rebecca Campbell. Rebecca enjoyed skating and spending summers at her cottage and spending time with family; Rebecca loved music and could often be found singing or cracking a joke. She leaves behind a son, Freddie Campbell (Debbie) and grandchildren: Ryan (Rusagonis, NB), Christopher (Birch Grove, NS), James (Glace Bay, NS) and four great grandchildren. She will be reunited with her family; brothers: Dan (Dut), Charles (Bo), James, Ray, and sisters: Catherine (Caddie), Mary, Doris (Doey), Rodina. The family wishes to express their deepest gratitude to the nurses and CCA’s of Victoria Haven Nursing home, they were her extended family for many years. In respecting her wishes cremation will take place under the care and direction of T.J. Tracey Cremation and Burial Specialists, 370 Reserve St., Glace Bay. 902-849-4199.
