Gary was one of a kind, my first meeting with Gary he was applying for a managers job at National Muffler, Windmill Rd.about 40 years ago. Gary as I became friends with him found out he liked dressing up. The muffler shop was a garage greasy and dirty Gary shows up for the interview in a three piece suit he blew me away and then with all the bullshit, he never shut up, (Hence his nickname MOTOR) we went to the Old Mill had a couple of cold ones. Yup he got the job!
His position had to change for a time due to little to no knowledge about mufflers. Gary always wanted to better himself and kept his eye on opportunities, He knew someone who knew someone at DND dockyard Halifax. Bingo he made the move with my best wishes, I think he really enjoyed putting in time there and succeed finishing his career getting pensioned as a federal employee. Giving him the opportunity to work with other freinds at Laurie`s Automotive. Gary, a spark, hard to stop, opinionated in his mind never wrong my friend will be MISSED.
