It is with great sadness that the family announce the sudden passing of Rose Marie Bent of Dartmouth N.S at the age of 83. She passed away peacefully in the Dartmouth General Hospital as a result of a brief illness.

Rose grew up in Ellershouse Hants Co. N.S. She was the eldest Daughter of John and Marie Dunbar. Rose started her life in Ellershouse and Married Waldon “Wonnie “Bent in 1960. They moved West where they spent number of years. Returning to Hants County in the late 1970’s. Rose worked mostly in the baking business and for some time was self-employed supplying many local stores with her delicious goods. Rose retired to Dartmouth where she spent time with her good friend and companion Dave Fitzpatrick.

She is survived by her brother, John Dunbar and many Nieces and Nephews. Rose is Predeceased by her Husband Wonnie; her sisters Gwendolyn Cuvelier, Carol MacLearn, Sharon Dunbar, her brothers, Arnold Dunbar, and Roger Burns.

Rose will lay to rest in the St Croix Cemetery. A small graveside service will be held for the Family.
