It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Connie on Saturday, November 16, 2024. Born in Sydney, Connie was the daughter of the late John and Margaret O’Dea (Whiffen). Connie passed away peacefully at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital Palliative Care Unit.

She is survived by her children, Mark and Krista; grandchildren, Brooke, Luke, Mya, and Dylan; sister, Debbie (Jack), and stepfather Ambrose Lukeman, as well as several nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, Connie was predeceased by her brother, Johnnie O’Dea.

Connie was a loving person who had many wonderful friends and will be missed by many.

Cremation has taken place under the care and direction of T.J. Tracey Cremation and Burial Specialists, 6 Churchill Drive, Sydney, NS, 902-539-7175. A Celebration of Life will be held at the Ashby Legion on November 29, 2024 from 2-8 pm

.
