Dear Judy, we are so sorry for your loss. Although we met occasionally, it was always so nice to meet up with you and Mike in Bedford, or at the Lions Pool, and, of course, at our dances. It was always lovely to see you both, and enjoyed the interesting chats we had. Please accept our sincere sympathies.

Uncle Mike. I’m so sad you are gone. I remember when I was a little girl you babysat me once. We made lemon meringue pie together. You actually made it and I helped eat it. It’s one of many lovely memories I have of you from my childhood.
Psalm 23:4 “Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.”

Judy, we are so sorry for your loss. Mike, you have suffered recently, beyond what any kind, friendly and spiritual person could endure. Your enthusiasm for skiing and astronomy was well known and shared. It was always a pleasure to spend time with you in the AV loft for Saturday masses. We had shared pictures of many launches over the past few years and whenever I see another ship on it's way to the heavens, I will remember you. You have earned your stay in Heavenly Paradise. Rest in peace now.

Dear Judy ,
My heart is breaking for you . Ralph and I send you our sincere condolences .
I have wonderful memories of Mike . I met him at the Centennial rink , zipping around in those black figure skates .
You no doubt remember “that Tuesday” at Martock that Mike would mention from time to time when everything aligned to make a fabulous ski day . He so loved to find little jumps so he could get air .
His lemon pies were so tasty . When he shared with me his family’s recipe for fudge he said that some extra vanilla was always a good thing , so for several years now when using it I always add a bit more than called for in the recipe .
Thinking of you , Judy .
Love and hugs , Carol

Oh my..I had no idea Mike was ill. We met at Boutiliers Boatyard many decades ago. He used to helped me with my Bluenose sloop and was part of our little group. Lost touch. I am sooo sorry to hear of his passing and send hugs and sympathy to his wife and brothers. Mike was the definition of " a gentleman".

Dear Judy
We also began our friendship through ballroom dancing - it led to a lasting friendship which Glen & I have always cherished. Skiing, skating, dancing, travelling, parties, New Year's Eve celebrations, etc. - what fun we had as a group!! We will always remember the building of the Timbits box in our garage for a dance competition. Once it was built, we weren't sure how we would get it to the LeBrun Centre in one piece (in the rain). Mike was a kind and positive soul even while enduring his numerous treatments. Our hearts go out to you Judy - as time goes by, we hope the wonderful memories you made together will help soften your loss and keep Mike's memory alive. Love, Marilyn & Glen

Dear Judy, Tony and Pete,
Larry and I extend our sincere condolences to you.
Anyone who knew Mike knew that he was a good and kind man.
Occasionally Mike dropped in to visit my parents and helped Dad with anything that needed to be done around the house. When my girls flew to Halifax for surprise visits to my parents Mike picked them up at the airport and took them to the house.
In recent years Mike and I kept in contact through email reminiscing about our childhood memories of summer barbeques in Bedford and drives around Halifax to see the houses decorated with Christmas lights as well as expressing our opinions on multiple topics.
Rest in peace dear cousin, Joan
