Obituary of Rodney Keith Clarke

Rodney Keith Clarke Glace Bay It is with profound sadness that we the family regret to announce the sudden passing of our son, brother, uncle, father, Rodney at home on Saturday, November, 11,2017. Born in Glace Bay, January, 14, 1969, he was the son of George and Marie (Warren) Clarke. He is survived by his children, Mason and Tristan Clarke, Glace Bay, his siblings, George (Juanita), Rick (Lisa), all of Glace Bay. Rodney was predeceased by his sister, Kimberley, who held a special place in his heart. His grandparents, Lillian and Malcolm Clarke and Susan and Edgar Warren. Rodney lived a simple life and had his own way of thinking which in some cases may not have always been the right way. He had a special bond with his mother “his rock” and will be missed terrible by his “sidekick” Cynthia. He held various jobs over the years and had a talent of putting his hand to anything that needed to be built or fixed. Rodney has had various health issues the past few years but his suffering has finally ended and he is at peace now with his sister. Cremation has taken place. As per Rodney’s wishes, there will no visitation and will be laid to rest with his sister. There will be a private family service held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or St. Mary’s Church, Glace Bay.
