David Clare Wadden, 51 of Glace Bay.
We the family, regret to announce his passing on November 18th, 2017, at the Glace Bay Hospital surrounded by family and friends. He was the son of Kenzie and Judy Wadden. Survived by his wife, Darlene of 21 years; children, Angela (Matthew) McKinnon, Declan and Kenzie; and two grandchildren, Maria and Callum McKinnon. He will be dearly missed by brothers, Dennis (Alison and son Jamie), Dale (son Brody and his mother Terri); mother-in-law, Patricia Bray; brothers-in-law, Allan (Allison), Darryl (Sandra), Kevin (Deanna); sister-in-law Linda (Chad) MacPhee; nephews and nieces, Jocelyn, Kyle, Alex, Connor, Jordan, Lauren, Nicolas, Sam, Talia; and special godsons, Brad Cuzner, Nicolas MacPhee and Brody Wadden.
David was a true gentlemen and friend. He worked many years for Magna, North Sydney until he began to travel to the Western parts of Canada to numerous job locations where he worked in Material Management. David was happiest and content at home in Glace Bay surrounded by family and friends and his special lap companion, Karly.
Visitation will be held in T.J. Tracey Funeral Home, 370 Reserve Street, Glace Bay (902) 849-4199, on Wednesday, November 22 from 5:00 pm – 8:00 pm.
Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Thursday, November 23 at 10:00 am in Saint Anne’s Church, Glace Bay.
Memorials may be made to the Glace Bay Hospital Foundation or the Cape Breton Cancer Patient Care Fund.
