Obituary of Marian Krzychowiec

Age 72, of Bedford, passed away on Saturday September 21, 2024 in the QEII Halifax Infirmary site. Born in Lukowa, Poland he was a son of the late, Bronislaw and Eugenia Krzychowiec. Marian was a devote husband, father, and grandfather. He was kind, caring and always willing to offer help, support and guidance to those in need. He had a great sense of humor. Enjoyed watching tennis, the outdoors and fishing in the rivers of Cape Breton. Talented gardener. Marian's career started at the Gdansk Shipyard in Poland, then after relocating with his family to Nova Scotia, the Irving Shipyard where he worked until retirement. He is survived by his wife, Alicja (Rudz) of 48 years; son, Jacob; daughter, Agatha; brothers, Jan, and Zbigniev; grandchildren, Dominic, and Alise. Besides his parents he was also predeceased by his brother, Stanislav. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday October 1, 2024 at 12pm in T. J. Tracey Cremation and Burial Specialists, 71 McQuade Lake Crescent, Beechville, NS, B3S 1C4.
