My name is Earl Thompson, I married June's niece Christine (Tina) Brown Holland and when we first visited Halifax, we went to June's place to visit. June was always cheerful and she even provided me with genealogy data to use in Ancestry concerning the Holland family. What seemed odd was that Tina died 11 days before June from the same condition as June. June's son Brendon called me concerning June's death. I had told him Tina had died 11 days before June and I had sent June a newspaper obituary. I had sent Tina's obit to June right after she had passed way. Brendon indicated he never received it until Sep 18, 2024. Brendon sent me June's newspaper on Sep 24, 2024 and I never received it until 12 Oct 2024. Like Brendon said" The postal service are not what they used to be". How true. My condolences to the family with the loss of June.
