Obituary of Gordon Harold Stoodley

Gordon Harold Stoodley, 82 Glace Bay, N.S. We the family of Gordon Harold Stoodley, 82, of Glace Bay, announce his passing in the Glace Bay Healthcare Complex on Thursday, August 29, 2024. Born in Jersey Harbour, Newfoundland, he was the son of the late Frank and Lillian Stoodley. In Franks younger years he was a fisherman in many different communities and enjoyed the outdoors. Surviving Frank are three brothers: James Stoodley, Albert Stoodley, and Winston Stoodley; five sisters: Elizabeth Rose, Marge Wellhem, Maxine Courty, Alice Gillis, and Linda Bogers. Along with his parents Gordon is predeceased by brothers John and Eric Stoodley, and sisters Violio Snook (Stoodley) and Mabel Hill (Stoodley). Cremation has taken place under the care and compassion of T.J. Tracey Cremation and Burial Specialists, 370 Reserve St., Glace Bay. 902-849-4199.
