I wish to express sympathy for the loss of Agnes. Even though I didn’t know her, the pain can grieve us. We can look forward to the promise in the Bible when “no resident will say: “I am sick””. (Isaiah 33:24) This will be on the earth when God “will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more” because these “former things will have passed away.” (Revelation 21:4) Please accept these thoughts toward the family.

To Bernie & Family: I am sorry to hear that Agnes has passed and for your loss. I worked at Buchanan Memorial Hospital in Neil’s Harbour. I had the pleasure of getting to know Agnes at that time. She travelled with me back to Sydney, where Bernie was always waiting at the Sydney River Plaza. Unfortunately I was moved from that area and we lost touch, however she faithfully sent me a Christmas card every year and when I actually sent cards out, I was sure to include her; in fact I put her on list to send her a card this year. I am sure she will have everyone laughing in heaven. May God Bless.
