Obituary of Hazel Jefferies

Hazel Renton Jefferies Howie Centre/Glace Bay It is with heavy hearts that we the family announce the passing of our dear mother and grandmother, Hazel Jefferies on Friday, August 9, 2024, at Seaview Manor. Born in Ingleton,U.K. she was the only daughter of the late Kathleen Baker. Hazel was a member of the Jehovah’s Witnesses in the North Sydney Congregation. In her pass time, she enjoyed sewing, knitting as well as traveling with Neil. Hazel enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Hazel is survived by her loving daughters Angela (Melvin) Tutty, who she resided with until she went to stay at Seaview Manor, Gail Kelly; grandchildren, Vanessa, Vikki and Stephanie; her great grandchildren, Ben, Clark, Anna-Grace, Stevie-May. Besides her mother, Kathleen, she was predeceased by her husband Neil Jefferies, her grandson, Michael Tutty. Cremation has taken place. A service for Hazel will be held Monday August 19, at 7:30 pm at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witnesses, 257 Reserve St., Glace Bay, NS.
