Marilyn Irene (Jamieson) Boland Passed away on October 29th, 2023 at St. Mary's Hospital, at the age 80. Marilyn 'Ma' was born in Glace Bay, NS to the late Alexander Jamieson and the late Martina (MacDonald) Jamieson. Loving Ma of Linda (Bob) Boudreau, Tommy (Wendy) Boland, Michael (Kelly Campbell) and Darlene Boland. Her legacy lives on through her grandchildren: Guy, Shawn (Annie), Cheryl, Brent, Brittany (Dan), T.J. (Bonnie), Justin (Cindy), Brad (Tassie),Derek, Stacey (Ian), Shelby (Matt), Martina (Chris) and Jay and great- grandchildren: Riley, Isabel, Sophie, Joe, Liam, Delia, Emilegh, Abby, Cohen, Logan, Tessa, Sloane, Ava and Nora. Marilyn instilled a great and unwavering love for her family in her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She loved bowling, playing cards and darts with family and friends and dancing with her late husband. She is also survived Marie (Dewey) Smith of Glace Bay, as well as brothers: Cecil and Tommy of Glace Bay and her sister-in-law Betty (the late Gerry) MacInnis and brother-in-law, Wayne (Greta) Boland. She is also missed by many nieces and nephews. Marilyn was predeceased by her husband Tommy; her son Daryl; and her brother James (Phyllis), Ray (Marie), Sonny; her sisters, Yvonne (John MacLellan), Elaine (Donnie) and Stella Maris in infancy. Cremation has taken place. A graveside service will be held 10:00 a.m. Friday, August 9th, 2024 in St. John's Cemetery. Reception at the Hub Club.
